Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before registering for any Launch Lab program. By registering, participants and parents agree to the following.

Program Overview

Launch Lab offers creative business workshops for pre-teens and teens aged 10 and up. Participants engage in various programs, including but not limited to print-on-demand T-shirt design, digital design, coding, and entrepreneurship.

Each program is designed to foster creativity, business acumen, and personal growth.

Registration and Participation

Eligibility

Open to individuals aged 10 and up.

Registration Requirements

Completion of the registration form, including both student and parent/guardian contact information, is mandatory.

Parental Consent

A completed Parent Liability Waiver/Consent Form must be submitted before the first class. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of program participation.

Access

Upon receipt of the completed waiver, participants will receive access to the class portal on Softr.io to begin coursework.

Program Structure

  • Duration: Varies by program; typical workshops last 6–8 weeks.
  • Class Schedule: Offered on select days and times; specific schedules provided upon registration.
  • Format: Combination of video lessons, worksheets, live classes, and assignments.
  • Assignments: Participants are expected to complete assignments between classes, including personal storytelling, brand concept development, and design creation.

Parental Responsibilities

Parents or guardians are responsible for:

  • Ensuring the participant's compliance with local business and tax laws.
  • Overseeing any necessary business registrations, such as obtaining an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or forming a Limited Liability Company (LLC), if applicable.
  • Managing any recurring costs associated with domain registration, website hosting, and maintenance, which can range from $20 to $300 annually, depending on the platform.

Liability and Waiver

Important A completed Parent Liability Waiver/Consent Form is mandatory for participation. Participation will not be granted without it.
  • Liability Waiver: A completed Parent Liability Waiver/Consent Form is mandatory for participation.
  • Assumption of Risk: Parents acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the program.
  • Indemnification: Parents agree to indemnify and hold harmless Launch Lab, its instructors, and affiliates from any claims arising from the participant's involvement.

Refund Policy

Full Refunds

Available only if requested before the first class.

No Refunds

Issued once the participant attends the first session. No exceptions will be made after the first class has been attended.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Engage respectfully with instructors and peers.
  • Complete assignments on time.
  • Uphold the integrity of the program by refraining from plagiarism or dishonesty.

Termination

Launch Lab reserves the right to terminate participation for:

  • Violation of the Code of Conduct.
  • Failure to adhere to program requirements.
  • Disruptive behavior affecting the learning environment.

Intellectual Property

Student Ownership

All work created by the student during the program, including designs, brand assets, and content, remains the intellectual property of the student and their parent/guardian. The student and parent/guardian retain the right to use, sell, or distribute the work independently.

Rights of My Creative Profile / Launch Lab

By participating in the program, parents and students grant My Creative Profile / Launch Lab a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the student's work for marketing, promotion, and content creation purposes, including social media, advertising, or promotional materials for current and future programs. This license does not transfer ownership of the work; it is limited to promotional use.

Non-Payment Clause If the program balance is not paid in full, My Creative Profile / Launch Lab reserves the right to retain ownership of any intellectual property created during the program until full payment is received.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising will be resolved in the appropriate courts within Florida.

Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all current and future programs offered by Launch Lab, including workshops, courses, and online or in-person learning experiences.

Program content, schedule, instructors, and pricing may be updated at Launch Lab's discretion. Participants and parents agree that all terms herein govern participation in any program unless otherwise explicitly stated.

By registering for Launch Lab, parents and participants acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
